Community Development Director

The City of Saline is accepting applications for the position of full-time Community Development Director. Under the direct supervision of the City Manager, this position plans, organizes, and directs all activities of the Community Development Department, including planning, zoning, building inspection & review, code enforcement, assessing, and business ambassador duties. Bachelor’s Degree in related field required. Four years of municipal government planning and/or zoning experience is required. Two years prior supervisory experience required.

Full Time Police Officer

The City of Saline is seeking applicants for the full-time position of police officer. The successful applicant will join a supportive, professional team dedicated to community-oriented policing and traffic safety. Applicants must be Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) certified or certifiable and be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation. Bachelor’s degree preferred. The City of Saline is approximately 4.3 sq. miles with 9,200 residents, has a thriving downtown and business community, and outstanding public schools and municipal parks. Part Time Parks and Rec Child Care

The City of Saline is accepting applications for part-time Child-Care Levels I and II at the Rec Center to supervise the Kids’ Corner childcare room; This position is responsible for the overall safety of the children, and provides fun activities for the children’s participation. CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are desired. Available shifts Monday through Saturday in the mornings and evenings. 10 to 20 hours per week.

Child Care I must be 15+ with a wage range from $10.10/hr to $10.70/hr. Child Care II must be 18+ with at least 1 year of experience, and a wage range from $10.10/hr to $11.57/hr. Lifeguard

The City of Saline is accepting applications for part time Lifeguard at the Rec Center. Must be American Red Cross certified. Available shifts include Monday through Friday: between 5:15 am and 8 pm.
