What is my user name?
Your user name is your email address. If you have never done anything at the Saline Rec Center before, we do not have a user name and account set up for you. Choose NEW ACCOUNT and enter the required information to set up an account.
How do I set up my account?
If you have visited the Saline Rec Center since 2010, purchased a membership, or registered for a class, we may have an on-line account already set up for you. It may take a few minutes to get your account working, so we appreciate your patience. It’s a convenient, easy-to-use system once you get in!
- Click on LOG IN, use your email address for the USER NAME.
- Click on FORGOT PASSWORD and enter your email address again. Do this even if you have never entered a password before. This is how the software generates a password for you.
- Now, log in to your email and look for a message from Saline Rec. This will contain your system generated password. DO NOT cut and paste the password, it will not be accepted.
- Next, click on the link to log in to salinerec.com or simply go back to salinerec.com Type in the system generated password carefully using upper and lower case where required.
- If you still can’t log in using this password, you either do not have an account with us yet, or the password does not work. Please call the Rec Center at (734) 429-3502 for help.
I forgot my password
No worries. Just click on FORGOT PASSWORD, enter your email address and your password will be emailed to you. Check your spam folders as the message may have been filtered there.
How do I change my password?
Click on RESET PASSWORD on the first page to reset. Use a password you will remember. As with any password, it’s a good idea to change it from time-to-time.
I am an annual member. How do I receive the lower annual member fee when I register online?
When you purchase an annual membership, our software determines if you are an annual member or not. If you are a current ANNUAL member, you will be charged the lower “annual member” fee automatically. Remember that monthly memberships do not qualify for the lower “member rate”.
Some classes and events have a discount for early bird registration, but I don’t see any options to select “early bird fee”. How do I know if I am paying the early bird fee or not?
The prices listed in the on-line registration system are always accurate and up-to-date, so if the early bird fee is available on the day you register, then you receive the early bird price automatically. For example, a swim class early bird fee ends on 5/6. If you register for the class on or before 5/6, the early bird fee is in effect. If you register on 5/7 or after the price will be the “regular” price.
I want to register for an event but I don’t see it listed anywhere. What should I do?
Our programs, classes and events are tied into financial account codes embedded in the software. There may be a few classes that appear in a category you may not expect them to find them because we have a limited number of category options. There are also a few events, programs and classes that can only be registered for in-person or over the phone due to limited enrollment or other factors. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please call the Rec Center reception desk at 429-3502, ext. 0, we will be happy to help you register.
The swim class I want to register my child for is full. Is there a way to put him on a waiting list
No. To put your child on a waiting list, please call our reception desk at (734) 429-3502, ext. 0
I put my child in the wrong class and want to transfer her to another class. Can I do this online?
No, but our friendly reception desk staff will be happy to check availability in another class. If it is possible to make a transfer, we will do so. However, be advised that many events and classes do fill up quickly so the class you want may not be available.
I have a credit on my Rec Center account. Can I use it when registering online?
No, we’re sorry our software doesn’t have this capability. Please call the Rec Center at (734) 429-3502, ext. 0 to register if you would like to use your account credit.
Can I cancel my class registration online
No. To cancel a registration, please call our reception desk at (734) 429-3502, ext. 0 as soon as you decide you need to cancel.
