General Camp Information
Camper Ages: 5-12 years
Camp Hours: Camp is open 7:30 am–5:30 pm Monday thru Friday. Drop off is 7:30-9am. Pick up is 4-5:30pm.
Camper Groups and Staff: Campers are placed in groups of no more than 10 based on their age. Each group is led by a trained senior counselor with assistance from a junior counselor. Staff members are CPR, AED, First Aid and Basic Water Rescue certified. All staff have been screened and have their background checked.
Camp Activities: Each week we explore a new theme through exciting games, crafts, sports, special events and activities. In a typical year, we swim 2-3 times per week and take weekly field trips. Camper groups have daily access to nature trails, tennis courts, sand volleyball, ball fields, sledding area, outdoor pavilion, indoor gymnasium, full aquatics center, art room, table tennis, and more!

Registration and Contact Information: To register, contact the Parks & Recreation reception desk at 734.429.3502, register online, or stop by in person at the Rec Center located at 1866 Woodland Dr., Saline 48176.
Registration Deadline: The deadline to register for camp is the Thursday before the start of each week of camp by 10 pm. Late registrations will be accepted only if space is available. There is a $25 late registration fee that will be assessed on weekly rates and a $5 late registration fee on daily rates. For Fun Day Mini Camps, the registration deadline is 3 days prior to the Fun Day. There is a $5 fee assessed on late registrations.
Fees: Register for the entire week or by the day. Weekly registrations offer the best value while daily registrations offer flexibility.
Discounts: We offer a sibling discount on weekly registrations. Pay full price for one child and receive $15 off for each additional sibling for the same week of camp.
Refund Policy: Parents/guardians must notify Saline Parks & Recreation prior to 10pm the Thursday before the start of the camp week if a camper needs to be taken out of camp and a refund issued for that week. After 10 pm on Thursday, there will be no refunds issued on weekly or daily registrations. Administrative fee: There is a $25 administration fee assessed per child per weekly registration ($10 per daily registration). Refund requests submitted 1 week or more prior to the start of the camp week have the option of placing the refund amount on account for $1.

Winter Break Camp 2021-2022
Kids Camp is offered at the Rec Center during the Saline Area Schools winter break. Campers will swim, make crafts, go on a field trip and much more. Make sure you bring a swim suit, towel, hat, gloves, boots, snow pants, athletic shoes, lunch and a snack. Registration deadline is the Friday before the start of camp. Register for the week or for select days.

Fun Day Mini Camps 2021-2022
No school? No problem. Saline Parks & Recreation offers Fun Day Mini Camps during the school year when there is a day off from school. Campers participate in games, fitness activities, swimming, arts & crafts and more. Be sure to send a sack lunch, swim suit and towel. Registration deadline is 3 days prior to the Fun Day.

Spring Break Kids Camp 2022

Summer Break Kids Camp 2022
Camp will run June 13 - August 26. Information about the camp, including the calendar of weekly themes, activities and field trips as well as the parent handbook, camper information forms and fees will be released by end of March. Each week we will explore a new theme through games, group challenges, crafts, special events and a weekly field trip or special onsite activity. Campers have endless opportunities to have fun, meet new friends, try new activities and make memories that will last a lifetime! They are placed in group of 8-10 children of similar ages led by our enthusiastic and experienced staff. Make sure you bring a towel, sunscreen, book, athletic shoes, water bottle, lunch and a snack each day. Camp runs daily Monday thru Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm.
