Recreation
The City of Saline boasts a 240-acre park system and is located near the extensive Metroparks system of parks with trails, swimming, and canoeing. Saline also offers many recreational activities at the Saline Recreation Complex—a $4.7 million state of the art facility located adjacent to the industrial parks—including swimming, racquetball, weight training, and classrooms. The city is surrounded by tennis courts, soccer fields, golf courses, nature trails, and picnic areas.

The Coalition for a Quality Community
Leaders from the Saline area school district, community hospital, churches, businesses and governmental agencies have recently developed the Coalition for a Quality Community. Their goal is to create a network of cooperation for the purpose of building closer working relationships within these entities. With this alliance, the goal is to provide wise use of shared resources among all levels of organization and to serve the unique needs of our community.
