Ann Arbor Railroad

The Ann Arbor Railroad operates between Ann Arbor, Michigan and Toledo, Ohio, It is strategically positioned between southeastern Michigan and northern Ohio in the heart of the industrial Great Lakes.

Passenger:

Ann Arbor Station is an Amtrak station in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the Wolverine. The station has a ticket office; is fully wheelchair accessible; and has an enclosed waiting area, public restrooms, public payphones, vending machines, paid parking, and a taxi stand. Baggage cannot be checked at this location; however, up to two suitcases in addition to any "personal items" such as briefcases, purses, laptop bags, and infant equipment are allowed on board as carry-ons. Amtrak operates its Wolverine three times daily in each direction between Chicago and Pontiac, via Detroit.

Air

Ann Arbor Airport

The Ann Arbor Airport is a municipally owned airport operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The airport maintains a 3,500' concrete runway and a 2,750' seasonal turf runway to serve public and business flights, medical flights, flight instruction and charter services. The Ann Arbor Tower, operated by the FAA, provides air traffic control services daily from 8 am to 8 pm. The Airport is home to over 170 aircraft and handles about 65,000 operations (take-off/landings) per year. These aircraft are housed in 150-hangars and a few other hangars owned and leased out by the Airport. Tie down spaces on the airport ramp are also available on a short term (daily/overnight) or long term (monthly/annual) basis.
