Saline Boards and Commissions
Vision:
To foster and support the most desirable community, with efficient, high quality services, striving to exceed our citizens' expectations.
Do you want to be involved in your local government? The Saline City Council places a high value on obtaining citizen input. One of the ways they accomplish this is through their advisory boards including:
- Planning Commission
- Environmental Commission
- Parks Commission
- Youth Council
- Historic District Commission
- Zoning Board of Appeals
- DEI Committee
Upcoming meetings are available on the city calendar. Agendas and minutes for meetings are available on the meetings page for each board or commission.
If you’re interested in participating, please download an application (PDF) or for more information, call 734.429.4907 Ext. 2209.
Applicants must have a desire to serve their community in a volunteer capacity and be willing to contribute the number of hours necessary, for the particular group to which they are applying. Applicants are interviewed by the city council and selections are made as openings occur throughout the year.
