Peoples Park is a ten-acre complex featuring sports facilities and nature trails, nestled between Monroe Street and South Ann Arbor Street. The sports facilities consist of one basketball court and a baseball diamond are located along Monroe Street. A parking lot is located within the park, access is available through Annie's Daycare. There is also pedestrian access to the park from the corner of South Ann Arbor Street and Pleasant Ridge Drive, across from Risdon Park, with trails providing access to the facilities along Monroe Street. Peoples Park, with its diverse amenities, provides many opportunities. The park is a wonderful location for bird watching, nature contemplation, sports, walking or light hiking, picnicking, walking the dog, or playing catch.
