Local Development Finance Authority
The purpose is to promote economic development of manufacturing firms and high technology development, to alleviate and prevent conditions of unemployment, to assist and retain local industries and commercial enterprises, to strengthen and revitalize the economy of the City of Saline, to provide means and methods for the encouragment and assistance of industrial and commercial enterprises in locating, purchasing, constructing, reconstructing, modernizing, improving, maintaing, repairing, furnishing, equipping and expanding in the City of Saline, and to encourage the location and expansion of commercial enterprises in the City of Saline.
The LDFA board has eleven members, serving four-year terms and meets one Monday in February, April, May and November.
Informational meetings are held in May and November in jonjuction with our reguarly scheduled meetings.
